Researchers from Rice University found a way to achieve a storage capacity of 1 terabyte (1TB). They do this by creating a resistive RAM (RRAM) is easy to adopt by the mobile phone manufacturers. Then by using a silicon oxide material, material that is also able to make the battery last longer, the memory will be compressed up to 1TB, use less power and did not have problems with heat.
RRAM will replace flash memory. Surely the current storage as a primary requirement is very important, especially in this era such as 4K, where for every 1 minute duration video recording you need for almost 400MB free storage.
